Two-thirds of the 415 million people with diabetes live in cities. Urban diabetes is a growing challenge that no organization or company can solve on its own, but partnerships between companies, managers, planners, architects and healthcare professionals can make a difference.
The purpose of Cities Changing Diabetes is to create a movement where partnerships work together to identify and implement solutions to tackle urban diabetes, help develop action plans, and bring health improvements to the agenda of future urban planning.
